Dracula Food

Our story

The story of a house that began with a simple question: what do we put on the table in an active life?

How it began

We live in a world that has given us time. Medicine has added years to our lives, and sport keeps us moving, strong and fit, long past the age at which earlier generations slowed down. Those years have changed the question: it is no longer only how long we live, but how we live each day.

For us, the answer began at the table. A way of life is not only the morning workout or the outfit you wear into a meeting. It is, above all, what you choose to eat. We were looking for premium products that suited this way of living: fewer and better, with a short list of ingredients and an origin you can check. On the ordinary shelf, we rarely found them.

That is how the idea came about. It did not start in a factory but at the work table of a marketing team. First we built the projects: the name, the story, the imagery, the way a premium house inspired by Transylvania ought to look. Only then did we turn to the product: selection, suppliers, specifications, standards. That order obliges us to promise only what we can show.

Two houses grew from the same idea. Dracula Food looks after what you put on the table. Dracula Design looks after what you carry with you. They meet in one place only, ‘A Way of Life’: morning, journey, table, evening.

One day, four rituals

Morning begins with movement and order: the workout, a breakfast chosen with care, the briefcase packed. The journey asks for fewer, better things: the backpack that carries everything, the snack that fits in a pocket. The table is time spent with attention, with those close to you. The evening means elegance does not end at the office. Each house brings its own part to these four moments, and neither replaces the other.

What we put on the table

The Dracula Food selection starts with what a food brings to your day. We look for simple foods with a short list of ingredients and no added flavourings or colourings, such as walnuts, hazelnuts and dried fruit. For us, ‘fit and natural’ is a way of choosing, mindful of what we eat and how we live, not a claim about any particular nutrient; what each product brings is set out on its product page.

A snack before the morning run, a handful of walnuts on the way to the office, a bowl after training, a selection for the evening: our products are meant for the rituals of a day in motion, as part of a varied diet.

The figures are on the product page

On a story page we do not write ‘high in protein’ or ‘high in fibre’. Such statements appear only on the product page, and only when that product’s nutritional values meet the thresholds set by law. Until then, the product page shows the values per 100 g, and you judge for yourself.

Where the products come from

Every product page states what the product contains, how much it weighs, how to store it and, where it has been confirmed, the area the ingredients come from. When a piece of information is not yet documented, we do not fill it in from imagination: the page says that confirmation is pending. We prefer a shorter page to a promise we cannot show.

A house standard

Because we do not use terms reserved for certified products, we defined our own standard: Dracula Heritage Harvest. Five conditions, checked batch by batch: origin, selection, minimal processing, traceability and season. The term appears only on products that meet all five.

What Heritage Harvest means

Who chooses

Behind every selection stands the Dracula Food selection team: it chooses and tastes every batch before accepting it.

What we do not promise

We do not claim that any food cures, prevents or prolongs anything. A good product finds its place in a varied, balanced diet and an active way of life; the rest is up to you. We do not sell extra years and we do not promise miracles: we promise careful choices and information you can check.
